Over the past year the class I have been teaching has been part of the post card project. This is where we recieve and send post cards to other schools around the world.
In my class we have a travel buddy. This is a soft toy that gets sent overseas to another school. We then send emails,write to each other and skype the class. The travel buddy also goes home with the children and a journal is kept by the children to show what they have done.
For the past two years the class I have been teaching has participated in Quad Blogging. This is where four classes from around the world comment on each others class blogs.
Room 12 participated in a Skype to read project where we Skype another class from around the world and the students read to each other.
